Description

Peruvian balsam comes from the Myroxylon tree, which literally means “fragrant wood” in Greek, or Quina Balsam, which also produces Tolu balsam; the latter is different in its production and prophecy of its scent, it is less pleasant and refreshing than Peruvian Balsam. Balsam Tolu is a sap-like substance from the balsam tree Myroxylon. It is used as a medicine. People take tolu balm for cough, bronchitis, and cancer. It direct aplied skin to treat bed sores, cracked nipples, cracked lips, and minor skin cuts.
