Description

Peruvian balsam is sometimes applied directly to the skin with infected and cold sores, burns, ulcers, frostbite, leg ulcers, bruises, hemorrhoids, itchy rash, nappy rash, irritated skin or sweating, and bleeding. The aroma of balsam peru is similar to that of benzoin and tolu balsam – sweet, delicate, very fragrant balsam, warm, splendid, plush, with a resinous amber, powdery, fruity vanilla with a light touch of wood and cinnamon. In spite of all these soft and warm notes, this balsam is still light and has a clean aroma on the bat.
